ESM 1716

The devices of the ESM family are switch matrixes and enable a flexible signal feed of the SAT IF and terrestrial range. The ESM devices have 17 signal inputs, 16 for SAT IF and 1 for the terrestrial range as well as 16 outputs. The terrestrial signal is available at each output along with the SAT IF signal. The 16 SAT IF inputs are grouped into 4 groups with 4 inputs each. Usually all inputs can be assigned with any SAT IF signal. A fixed 15 V supply voltage is active at each SAT IF input. Depending on the device type, an additional web-based control for the routing of the input signals to any outputs and a power supply redundancy is integrated. The modules work independently and are designed as 19”, 1 RU devices. Thus, these devices can be used for signal processing and distribution systems, monitoring and recording systems as well as for control and test stations.
